VICTIMS OF LAGOS COLLAPSED AND DEMOLISHED BUILDINGS RECEIVE ITEMS


          The representatives of the donor company were received at the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Relief and Rehabilitation camp in Igando hall, their message to the survivors is for them not to lose hope in the face of their present challenges as they donate to ameliorate their present conditions.
         This is the first round of donation from private companies for the survivors of Ita Faji collapsed building and victims of demolished defective structures on Lagos Island.
           Receiving the items on behalf of the over 400 survivors,  General Manager of LASEMA, Adeshina Tiamiyu thanked the donor company on behalf the state government.He said for the next three months, the welfare of the survivors remain key to the state government.

         Tiamiyu advised the survivors to look for new opportunities that abound within their new environment as the agency will soon stop conveying some to the Island once school closes for holidays.

           Meanwhile, at the relief camp clinic, many of the survivors are currently undergoing general screening to ascertain their health condition, those diagnosed for high blood pressure and malaria were treated and given free drugs.

          Just about the time lunch was served,about 22 adult and 25 pupils  of Ita Faji building collapse arrived led by the leadership of Lagos Island East LCDA, they are at the camp only for enumeration,they chose to remain on the Island.
